I spent a few days trying to be mindful of every time I ran into an apparent software bug (outside of work!). I had a feeling it was happening all the time and I had just trained myself to move on without even noticing. Probably 95% of my personal computing is on my iPhone, so that's where they all show up.
The AirPods popover came up on my iPhone and I couldn't close it by tapping the "x" button.
